Take and Online Add Offline

If you have an advertising campaign that works online, odds are that it will work offline as well; perhaps even better. What’s great about advertising online is the ability to test an ad to find the secret combination of headline and copy that pulls.  Once you’ve got a winning ad online it’s time to take it off the ranch and into the city – - the city newspaper that is.  Try to run the ad in as many newspapers as possible.  Whatever you do, don’t let the newspapers advertising department write your ads.  You’ll end up sound like all the others and it won’t have your special flavor.  If possible, give a free offer.  This is also an attention getter.  The Sunday paper is the most read and therefore the most effective.  Therefore if you only have a couple days to advertise, do it then.

When writing your ad take note of the following tips:  your headline should include an offer.  For example, “I’ll teach you to make $997 a day.”  If possible, put a little border around your ad to make it stand out.  For placement, try to use the right-hand page of the paper.  Be a good student of other ads.  What makes there ads so compelling.  Which ads sound cliché and overused.  And lastly, don’t forget to put your contact information.  Including a phone number and your web address will increase sales.  Be sure to ask your customers how they heard about you.

If you have a website, be sure to have an opt-in list to capture the customer’s information.  This is critical!  Why?  It often takes at least seven offers before a customer is ready to buy.  You want to keep your name in front of the customer.  You can have this easily set up with an auto-responder system that sends out your pre-written emails in any given time frame.  For my offers, I usually use a maximum of ten emails.  Some are sales oriented and others offer marketing tips.  This keeps the lead from deleting your email if you offer something for free.

So there you have it.  Test your ads online (Google, yahoo), take them to newspapers, funnel the lead to your website, and woo them your emails until they take action.

Here’s some alternate offline advertising techniques that will work for most MLMs.

will never follow you again and you'll still be broke. 

My real advise is to get laser focused and get creative.
