What I’m Reading: Emotional Intelligence 2.0 by Travis Bradberry
What intrigued me about this book is the idea that we ‘feel’ before we ‘think.’ The way the human brain works is that stimulus travels through the spinal cord to the limbic system (emotional center) then to the rational center of the brain.
That puts us at the mercy of our emotions. Interestingly, people who control their emotions and pick up on the emotions of others are hands down more successful than people with a high IQ. EQ beats IQ.

A Weird Thing that Happened
Last week I sent out an email to my list with a reference to Frank Kern - the famed “23 million dollars in a day’ internet marketer. A marketing friend of mine just happened to be having a meeting with him and showed Frank my email. I guess some of that Law of Attraction stuff works!
Things I Set out to do during my Marketing Day
· Self-Development (30 minutes)
· Write a Blog Post
· Record a Marketing Video
· Write a new email and send to list
· Build social media – Follow new Twitter marketers
· Learn one new marketing strategy – implement it
· Place ads (ex. Facebook groups)
