Hello, My name is Rich O’Brien. As a teacher, I’ve taught at-risk students how to succeed in school. I also teach network marketers how to generate multiple streams of residual income from home in their spare time.

I’ve discovered the secret to success is the same for struggling high school students as it is for Internet network marketers: commitment and  action.

One gigantic lesson I’ve learned is you’ve got to take action on the right things. I’ve spent a lot of time and treasure doing things that don’t work.  Sure, I was busy, but being busy moving piles of stone from one pile to another doesn’t get you anywhere.  The network marketing  gurus  and ebook peddlers are always ready and willing to sell you another blueprint on how to move stones.

Now, I just focus on perfecting and teaching two skills:

1. How to generate leads

2. How to communicate to prospects

To that end, my mission is simple: help others develop the two golden skills.

A little about myself: I’m that rare mix of entrepreneur and educator. I guess it’s in my blood. My dad started and owned several businesses: auto-dismantler, towing companies,and auto  repair shops.

As a young boy I would go from door to door with lawn mower in tow or make handmade nunchucks (I was big into karate) and sell them to fellow junior high kids (until the VP found out) .

After reading the book Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki, while teaching a high school economics course, I reevaluated my thoughts on wealth.

I had accumulated some of the beliefs of the educated “poor dad” and knew I had to change my thoughts and actions as they related to money if I ever wanted to move beyond the j.o.b (just over broke).

I love teaching, but there’s nothing worse than having summers off and being stranded at home because you don’t get paid for two months. I wanted to be able to travel to Mexico with friends, take my family to Lake Tahoe on a whim, and visit  Hawaii.

Affiliate Marketing to the rescue: Several years ago I read the book Google Cash, the first ebook on how to make money as an affiliate using Google Adwords, and thus began my online money making venture.

I’ll be honest with you, I lost money for several months.  It was like Google Adwords was Ceasers in Las Vegas. I kept putting money in the Adwords machine in hopes of getting a jackpot.  My late night hobby was getting expensive – my money escaped from my bank account and drifted into Google’s bank account. That’s not the plan I had.

I Hit the Jackpot (well, sort of)

I finally learned the craft to writing a three line ad and money started trickling in (this was before I learned about free traffic). I wasn’t getting rich, as the profit on the education video tutorial products I was marketing was only $20; but hey, it was a start right? Finally, I had my little profit making niche!

It was so weird, at night I would write my tiny ads, next day go to work and teach, come home, turn on my computer and in my email box were headlines “Congratulations! YOU’VE MADE ANOTHER SALE.” I couldn’t believe the power of words. If I just put the right combination of words together, employed some “white hat” psychology tricks, people would respond by taking out their credit card and buying.

I roped my best friend, a computer manager at a local university here in Northern CA, into starting our own video tutorial business. We affiliated with tutorial producers and I even started producing my own video tutorials.

Creating My First Online Product

When the video ipod first came out I had my first big seller: I produced a video series (using Camtasia) that taught people how to convert a DVD and load it on their brand new video iPods. I sold tons of those things as a Clickbank seller.

The only downside was all of the support tickets. I’m a creative guy and not a techie. I love to use the computer but I’m a cut and paste kinda guy; I can barely hang a picture straight on the wall. I couldn’t keep up with all trouble shooting tech questions and eventually just gave the thing away for free and made money from Google Adsense ads.

Being a constant learner, I continued to refine my Internet marketing skills. I bought EVERYTHING. I mean thousands of dollars worth of stuff from the likes of: Mike Filsaim, Frank Kern, Chris Carpenter and loads of others.

I participated in forums, courses, and mentoring all in an effort to take my game to the next level. I wanted more than chump-change, I wanted a game changer. I realized I needed to make more than $20 dollars a sale.

A lot of the guys I had been following on the Internet marketing forums were making their “millions” in Internet Network Marketing.  These guys became my friends and I squeezed every once of knowledge I could out of them.

Truth is Usually So Simple That We Miss It

My journey lead me to find the ultimate truth about becoming an Internet Network Marketer: the two must have skills are phone communication skills and website  traffic skills. Run away as fast as you can if anyone tells you anything different. There is no auto-bot to wealth creation.

I vowed that I would wouldn’t hide the real truth to Internet network marketing success to my partners; I would become the mentor that every opportunity seeker needed and share EXACT system I use.
