Who are you?

by Rich O'Brien on December 24, 2009

Who do you have to be in order to be successful in your network marketing business?

There’s a debate in our community: on one side the “doers” and the other side the “be’rs.”  It’s the old Do vs. Be battle of the ages.

The “doers” focus on activity and the “be’rs” focus on states on mind.

Let’s take the word “joy”  and ask ourselves how to be joyful. The doer would conceive joy as a process or doing an activity. The action, thus ushers in the feeling of joy. However, if you were to focus on the emotional state of being joyful, even before the action took place, you would be in state or being.

Doing vs. Being as it relates to your network marketing business could be the defining moment of clarity for some. In order to be a leader, you must first conceive the idea, that in fact you are a leader. From there, do the things that leaders do.
