The network marketing business is fraught with decision making: Which company should I join? Which marketing plan should I use? How should I brand myself?
All of the decisions could leave one with the “paralysis of analysis.” Simply put, too many options create their own problem. To this point, I am reminded of the Robert Frost poem The Road Not Taken
“Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;”
The poet is at a crossroads in the middle of a beutiful wood. He is stricken with the problem of having two great adventures before him. He goes on to talk about the pros and cons of each and concludes to take action by choosing one. It is in the choosing that the poet makes the discovery.
Are you standing along a stony path and looking out into the great unknown of your business? I encourage you to weight the options of each path and like Robert Frost, choose the road less traveled – the path of a decision maker.
